Garden Visits

Join Martin and Jill for a private day time or evening visit to their garden near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
Martin will give your group a guided tour of the garden that has been created since 2009.

About the garden

The garden covers ¾ acre and includes a wide selection of trees, shrubs and perennials along with our newly landscaped courtyard garden. A productive fruit and vegetable plot, orchard as well as a greenhouse and polytunnel provide Martin and his family with all year round produce.

During your visit Martin will happily answer all your garden questions and if time allows will give a short seasonal talk and demonstration in the covered stable area.

Garden visit

A visit to the garden including tea/coffee and a slice of Jill’s homemade cake is £6.50 per person. Please allow 1½-2 hours for your visit. Minimum group size 20 people.

Garden visit with cream tea

To make the occasion a little more special why not join us for a cream tea! Following your tour around the garden enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and freshly baked scones with cream and homemade jams plus a selection of delicious cakes. Price per person £10.00 (includes garden visit and cream tea). Please allow 2-2½ hours for your visit. Minimum group size 15.

Garden visit with buffet

If you have a little longer to spend with us we can provide a mixed finger buffet followed by a selection of homemade deserts, tea and coffee. Price per person is £12.50 (includes garden visit, buffet and drinks) Please allow 2½-3 hours for your visit. Minimum group size 15.
